From 2000-2007, Erin was the Team Leader
of the Pittsburgh CLO's Creative Vision
Program, overseeing the curriculum
development & instruction for the theater
arts residency program in Pittsburgh
Public and other area schools.
Part of the team since 1998, Erin worked
with inspirational & talented theater
professionals including Sandra Dowe,
Nathan James, Alex Crawley, Scott Nunnally,
Mike Hinzman, Justin Laing, Thomas
Chapman & David Minniefield to build self-
confidence, empower self-expression,
& model positive behavior for students
grades K-12.
Under the direction of seasoned educational
professional Susan Pettigrew, the program
relies upon an inter-disciplinary arts
curriculum. Students put on musicals, write
original plays and poetry, record CD’s,
create music videos, & begin each day in an
African Drum circle. Every activity is
designed to build upon and improve
literacy and language skills.
This effective partnership of the Pittsburgh
CLO Academy, Pittsburgh Public Schools
and various funders provides students with
unique opportunities to attend local
performances and to give voice to their
own creative inner spirit.
